Early Childhood Education
RQI has worked with many early childhood programs around the country, including:
- Head Start
- Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth (HIPPY)
- Even Start
- The Parent Services Program
Examples
- With support from an anonymous foundation, RQI collaborated with Associated Early Care and Education, an experienced agency serving nearly a thousand families each year in low and moderate-income communities in the Greater Boston area. Training for staff and parents led to the creation of the “Asking the Right Questions Planning Calendar.” This calendar demonstrates how RQI methods can be easily taught to parents and can be self-taught by parents as they prepare for meetings with their children’s teachers, with their doctors and with other services.

(RQI) enables us to work in a better, effective, and assertive way. It can be useful in so many areas and issues we might have.
