The QFT on national TV in Japan
NHK, the most prominent national broadcaster in Japan (equivalent to the BBC in the UK), recently featured the Question Formulation Technique on its high school education show. During the episode, students produced, improved, and prioritized questions and learned about using questions to solve problems in society. Many of you don’t speak Japanese, but you may be able to use your web browser (such as Google Chrome) to translate the page. Then you can click the bottom right of the video (next to the expand-video icon) to get translated subtitles.

School health and safety
In partnership with the Brown University School of Public Health and the National Education Association Health and Safety Program, we’ve created a self-paced training module and teaching resources. Participants in the module learn a practical method for families and educators to work more effectively with each other — to improve communication, increase parental/family participation, nurture engagement, and develop stronger partnerships. As a case study, the module examines how this method can be used to have constructive conversations around gun violence and school safety.

A milestone for ‘Make Just One Change’
Make Just One Change, written more than a decade ago by RQI co-founders Dan Rothstein and Luz Santana, introduced the world of education to the Question Formulation Technique. The book has gone on to become the fourth bestselling title in Harvard Education Press history — selling more than 65,000 English-language copies. It’s been translated into six languages and has helped spread the QFT to more than 160 countries.
