New book about teaching with primary sources
The Educator’s Handbook for Teaching With Primary Sources, a new book edited by Scott M. Waring, recently hit the proverbial bookshelves. The chapters, written by more than 30 educators, are both practical and inspirational when it comes to using primary sources in the classroom. RQI’s Sarah Westbrook and social studies teacher Johnny Walker wrote Chapter 2: “A Culture of Questioning: How to Use Student Questions to Springboard Powerful Primary Source Learning.”
