The 90 minute session, based on one presented in 2017 to librarians and educators at the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., will focus on how to help all students ask better questions and work more effectively with primary sources. The workshop will be an active learning experience in Hebrew (with use of some information in English) and will offer a deep immersion in the theory and practice of Question Formulation Technique, a method for helping students develop divergent, convergent and metacognitive thinking abilities.
The session will be led by Dan Rothstein, Co-Director, The Right Question Institute and Co-Author of Make Just One Change: Teach Students to Ask Their Own Questions (Harvard Education Press).
