Dan Rothstein, Co-Director of the Right Question Institute, will be leading a 3-hour session Monday, July 15.
SLC aims to synergistically define advocacy priorities and to advance organizational capacity to lead social studies in troubling times, and discuss the role social studies can play in safeguarding democracy, bridging partisan divides, encouraging critical inquiry, promoting civil discourse, and inspiring civic action.
This event is open to all with a common interest in social studies and leadership, but especially:
- Leading educators, administrators, academics, researchers, policymakers
- Leaders of NCSS Affiliated Councils, Communities, and Committees
- NCSS Associated Groups (CS4, CUFA, IA, and NSSSA)
- Other professional organizations and policy advocates
