This event will provide participants an experiential learning opportunity in the Question Formulation Technique (QFT) and participants will learn how to use the strategy both as a tool for collaboration and to guide individual research or problem-solving.
The morning will focus on how to use the QFT in the classroom to develop students’ question formulation skills and to facilitate teaching objectives and specialized knowledge through a collaborative learning experience. While there is a focus on the QFT for teaching and learning, all participants will be able to experience how the QFT may help to facilitate group collaboration and discussion in non-classroom settings.
The afternoon will focus on how participants can use the QFT to support their scholarly research and to formulate and refine questions foundational to a range of programming and project goals.
