The FADM is used in combination with the Question Formulation Technique. Participants will learn how to identify decisions and ask questions about three specific components of decision making: the reason, process, and role.

You will find in this guide a rationale for building parents’ skills to ask their own questions about decisions, a step by step guide for teaching the skill, and facilitation tips.
