The podcast “Partnership Connections” focuses on “child welfare training and educational topics all with the goal of helping to support those already working in, or with an interest in working in child welfare.” Hosted by Stan Brajer, the show is a partnership between Rhode Island College and the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth, & Families.
In January, the Right Question Institute’s Naomi Campbell joined the podcast to talk about an approach for building client and professional agency.
“Being able to ask your own questions — or, as we say, ‘formulate’ questions — is a skill that is essential for agency,” she said. “It’s essential for people to be able to advocate for themselves, to navigate complex systems, to partner with services providers.”
