Educators can use the nonpartisan “Why Vote?” resources to engage with students and young people about voting and participating in democracy – even if their first election is still a few years off.
There are three ways to use the “Why Vote?” resources if you work with youth or in schools, all focused on having people name for themselves the value of voting:
This 20-minute interactive module will introduce you to the “Why Vote?” Tool and accompanying resources and how to use it in your context and community. The module is geared mainly towards people who work with adults, but it will show how the “Why Vote?” Tool works and help you to adapt the resources to your work with youth and in schools.
You’ll need about 30 minutes and something to write with to get started.
