This June, we promote a few different summer learning opportunities for educators, including our popular course through the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Teaching + Learning
This May, we give a behind-the-scenes look at producing a classroom video resource, share a new blog post from a seasoned elementary educator, and include more resources for using the QFT in elementary grades.
We traveled to Gardnerville, Nevada, to shoot a classroom video at Gene L. Scarselli Elementary School. Students in Alyssa Park's fourth-grade class demonstrated how to use the Question Formulation Technique and got first-hand experience being on camera. Here's a quick behind-the-scenes look at the experience.
This April, we include ideas for ending the school year with questioning, invite you to share how you've used the QFT for self-advocacy in a legal setting, and more.
For March, we focus on resources that support the connection between libraries and questioning, as well as share more about our "Why Vote?" engagement strategy and other upcoming learning opportunities.
In this February newsletter, we share some of the questions produced by social studies educators at this year's NCSS 100th anniversary conference and remind our network of an upcoming run of our Best Practices course.
